New Visual Artists 2024 is a worldwide competition with entries accepted from all countries. Winners receive:All winners will be featured on PRINT and PRINT’s social media channels and newsletter, which boast a combined reach of more than 1 million.
Select winners will receive a feature story on PRINT.All winners will receive a bespoke trophy designed by COLLINS.
RULES
Entrant Requirements:
New Visual Artists recognizes 15 designers under the age of 30 and 5 designers over the age of 30 in the first five years of their professional career. To participate in the Under 30 category, the entrant must be under 30 years of age as of June 25, 2024. To participate in the Over 30 category, the entrant must be over 30 years of age as of June 25, 2024 and have been working professionally for up to 5 years.
Ownership:
By entering PRINT’s New Visual Artists Awards, entrant(s) assert that they are the legal copyright owners for all work(s) submitted. PRINT will not accept works that are considered plagiarism. Works that are considered to be plagiarized, morally or ethically questionable and/or offensive—whether intentionally or not—will be disqualified at the sole discretion of PRINT. PRINT reserves the right to demand proof of the actual existence and/or publication of the works presented. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from New Visual Artists. PRINT reserves the right to reject any entry at its sole determination.
Entry Materials:
All project and case study entries are submitted as links to the entrant’s portfolio or website. Entries are accepted online only. A completed entry form, and online payment are required for an entry to be accepted.
Payment:
All communication between PRINT and the entrant will be in English. All payments are processed through our online entry platform via credit card in U.S. Dollars ($). Submission fees are non-refundable for any reason.
Trophies:
New Visual Artist Awardees will have the opportunity to receive a custom trophy designed by COLLINS for a fee of $250 per award plus shipping costs. If additional trophies are requested, an additional fee will be assessed.
PRINT Publication and Promotion:
By entering New Visual Artists, the entrant(s) assigns the publication rights to Printmag.com and PRINT Holdings LLC for the works submitted, in whatever form: real, printed, digital and including on the internet.
Liability:
The entrant agrees to take all responsibility for any claims made against PRINT Awards or PRINT Holdings LLC and/or its affiliated companies, in the event of a dispute or litigation with possible claimant(s) or others. We cannot be held responsible for any problem of reproduction and/or designation of the works.
The decisions of the judges will be final.
